I have had the great fortune of taking yoga classes with Martine. As most people, I have physical concerns and limitations. She is attentive to her student’s individual needs. Her experience is apparent as she encourages her students to be attentive to the exercise and their inner calm. Martine has a natural ability to make you feel comfortable and her instruction is easy to follow. After a few classes I feel encouraged to continue, with clear expectations on my physical abilities. Taking classes with Martine is an enriching experience.

Martine is a very experienced yoga teacher, she is skilled and attentive to her students needs and concerns. I have been taking her classes for over 4 years, continuing on zoom through covid. I reconnected with Martine at the beginning of the pandemic. She offered Zoom Yoga classes so we could continue our practice, and maintain connections. We tuned in here in the USA from CT, MA, ME, NY, and around the world from France, Israel and Italy. She brought us to our mat at the beginning of each class, and we spent an hour together preparing our bodies with conscious breathing, stretching, then transitioning into standing postures. She focuses on one area of the body and brings consciousness to our Yoga experience – moving into position and going a little deeper when it feels the right thing to do. Yoga with Martine has been, and continues to be, a helpful and positive experience. The Yoga never stops. She offers Yoga on a regular schedule, mornings and evenings, depending on the season. Once a year, on a Saturday morning, Martine leads us through 108 Sun Salutations, and at times, evening Moon Salutation on a full moon. Thank You, Martine.

Your classes are so calming and your relationship with the students creates a warm environment. I like the way it flows from beginning to end. I especially like when you include breathing exercises, which makes me feel very good and have not seen in other classes I have taken. Keep teaching more and more, I am happy to learn from you!

I LOVE Martine’s yoga classes. Her class is always dynamic and challenging. I have been attending twice a week for over 5 years and she amazes me by always coming up with new combinations of poses so that her classes are never exactly the same. I have taken other forms of yoga over the years and really appreciate how she connects some of the spirituality of yoga to the physicality of the practice.
